Thoughtfully designed for those who value natural materials, minimalist living, and functional design, this bundled package provides everything you need to create a breathable, supportive, and space-saving sleep environment.

At the foundation of the system is our Japanese Style Handmade Coconut Coir Shikibuton Mattress, a firm 2-inch base layer crafted from natural coconut coir. Encased in a removable cover available in your choice of fabric, this breathable base promotes airflow and proper support while remaining completely free from foam, synthetic fibers, and chemical flame retardants. It is designed to be placed directly on the floor, serving as the structural foundation for the entire system.

Layered on top is your choice of Organic Shiki Futon Mattress, in organic cotton or natural wool made from carefully selected organic materials and wrapped  tufted in organic cotton twill fabric   ticking. Lightweight and breathable, this traditional futon is designed for daily use on the floor, tatami mat, or platform bed. It can be easily rolled up and stored, making it ideal for flexible, space-conscious living.

Available in Twin, Twin XL, Full/Double, and Queen sizes, and offered in your choice of color across all components, this Japanese sleep system delivers a fully coordinated, natural sleep solution.   1. Mattress designed for an every night sleep surface on a platform bed frame. This mattress will not bend on a futon sofa bed.

  1. Mattress designed for everyday use on a futon frame. Not recommended for every night sleep.

For the first few months of use, we recommend you rotate your mattress head to toe and flip it every time you change your sheets to ensure the organic fibers settle evenly. After six months, you can rotate your mattress once per month and flip it every few months.

Our mattresses are designed to last anywhere from 5 to 25 years depending on the ingredients inside your mattress and how well you care for your mattress.

You do not need box springs for any of our mattresses. Most of our mattresses are designed to work on a slatted platform bed as well as a convertible futon sofa bed frame. If you would like a box spring we have designed an organic all natural coconut foundation.

Yes, you may notice a slight, natural odor when you first unpackage your new mattress, futon, or pillow. This smell is a normal part of the process and is completely harmless.

The scent will naturally dissipate on its own within about a week. If you live in a climate with higher humidity, it might take a few extra days for the odor to fully disappear.

Long fiber wool and cotton resist forming balls or lumps and give futons a longer life expectancy. Dipping or lumping is generally caused by uneven wear on the mattress. By following the flip and rotation instructions. You will ensure that your mattress does not experience dipping or lumping.

Mattress tufting is the method of ensuring that the layers within a mattress stay put. Prevents the natural materials from shifting. A tuft can be a quilted circle on the top of a mattress, a lace tie or button that goes completely through the mattress from the top of the mattress completely through to the bottom of the mattress.

Individually pocketed coils achieve the same result. They minimize the area of motion. Natural Fiber will also provide motion isolation.
