Coconut Coir Fiber Used In Mattress Manufacturing
Natural palm coir (coconut fiber) from recycled coconut husks. The rise in demand for coconut water has left huge amounts of coconut fiber waste in the form of discarded husks (85% of each coconut is the husk). We now recycle these coconut husks instead of throwing them away. The process begins with turning the husk into rope.
The coconut coir ropes are untwisted by machine, spread out and sprayed with natural latex, to create a spring-like material. The rubberized coconut coir sheets are placed in layers, compressed and vulcanized to produce a firm and lasting product with highly resilient properties. These high-quality products are durable, they retain their shape, they breathe and allow air to pass through.
The all natural eco friendly breathable natural core of coconut is sandwiched between layers of natural latex and virgin wool to produce an all natural coconut fiber eco friendly futon mattress. The highest quality most natural ingredients without harmful chemicals. Great for every night sleep. Feel the difference.
