EXTRA SOFT - SOFT mattresses and futons are ideal for sitting and side sleepers. These mattresses offer enough support while still providing conforming ability for your shoulders, hips, knees, and is generally a perfect firmness for small sleepers.
A sleeper weighing less than 140 lbs. may enjoy a soft mattress more. These sleepers may float on the surface of the mattress and these softer materials allow sinkage of hips, knees and shoulders creating better pressure relief and support.
Extra soft and soft mattresses are not recommended for tummy or back sleepers. If your mattresses will be used traditionally for sitting, an Extra Soft to Soft Mattress is a great choice.

We have designed many types of mattresses for every type of sleeper.
For the first few months of use, we recommend you rotate your mattress head to toe and flip it every time you change your sheets to ensure the organic fibers settle evenly. After six months, you can rotate your mattress once per month and flip it every few months.

All manufactured products have odors based on their components. American Wool sometimes has a fresh odor. Our natural and organic materials have not been treated with toxic chemicals.
The ingredients may contain a faint odor. You will find the scent dissipates over the course of a few weeks. Natural Latex does have a slight odor as well.

Long fiber wool and cotton resist forming balls or lumps and give futons a longer life expectancy. Dipping or lumping is generally caused by uneven wear on the mattress. By following the flip and rotation instructions. You will ensure that your mattress does not experience dipping or lumping.
