FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do wool body pillows smell?

Yes, a wool body pillow may have a mild, natural scent when first unwrapped; this comes from trace lanolin retained in the wool. It's completely harmless and fades within a week of airing out.

Are wool body pillows good for side sleepers?

Yes, wool body pillows are ideal for side sleepers since they contour to the body's shape, supporting the neck, hips, and knees while keeping the spine in neutral alignment.

Can you wash a wool body pillow?

Wool body pillows shouldn't be machine washed; the wool filling should only be spot cleaned and refreshed by airing it in the sun. Using a removable, washable cotton cover or pillow protector makes maintenance easier.

Do wool body pillows sleep hot?

No, wool is naturally temperature-regulating; it wicks away moisture and adjusts to body heat, keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter, unlike foam or polyester fills that trap heat.

Are wool body pillows good for pregnancy?

Yes, wool body pillows provide full-length support that eases pressure on the belly, hips, and lower back, making them a popular choice for pregnant sleepers who need extra spinal alignment.
