"One woman who has had a long lasting affect on my life is my mother Natalie Jacobs. Natalie was the type of person although she put herself first no one was ever forgotten or left out. No matter what conflict or challenge she was going through she woke up every day with amazing courage to work through the challenge. I don't ever remember her complaining or questioning “Why me?”. Natalie was born from immigrant parents who came from Poland to America in the early 1900's to find a better life. She was a loving and giving mother, wife, sister and daughter. Natalie stayed on her side of the fence did not mettle in other people’s lives yet through her behavior and attitude taught courage, determination and love. Her shoes are pretty big, but everyday I do my best to fill them."
