About The Futon Shop About The Futon Shop

Our Organic Cotton Wool Shikibutons are the traditional Japanese sleeping mats we like to call shiki futons. We manufacture them in 3, 5, and 7 inch thickness so they can be layered or rolled up after use. The cotton shikibuton is the firmest and most traditional. The cotton and wool shikibutons add a comfort layer of warming or cooling wool to cradle your body in luxurious comfort. We manufacture each one by hand here in our San Francisco workshop. We can easily custom design any size or shape when it comes to shiki futons. These lightweight shikbutons can be rolled for travel or storage, layered on top of each other for layering comfort for your own custom bed design.
